Question too much ram

does too much ram affect the performance of my pc, if my processor speed is low ?
Would it make it slow or freeze?

Having too much RAM is just nothing more than a waste of money. It won't hurt your performance but it won't help any either. The RAM will just mostly go unused.

No too much RAM won't hurt anything, it will just operate at the max your system will allow for and waste the rest of the RAM's capability. So as theonerm said above, it's more just a matter of wasting money than degrading your system's performance.

It's like having a house that is too big.
There are rooms you never go in, and they are just unused and empty.
