This will be a long post, but I greatly appreciate anyone who takes the time to help me. I've been delaying for months and need to move forward. Thank you so much if you decide to read/help.

A few things you should know:
I've been saving up forever (this is my only shot to build a great PC, I have no room for error financially)
I lack knowledge on how to connect hardware, etc, I will be paying a "professional" to build the computer. I would attempt it if it was a cheaper build, but I don't trust myself when I have 3000$ on the line.
This is my first time ever buying parts for a computer, I usually just buy a premade, but then realized I was getting robbed.

This computer needs to be able to do the following:

Maintain 144 FPS constantly in DotA 2 (1080p) while streaming/recording/fraps'ing/etc while running music (via digital to analog USB -> amplifier -> headphones) + music player while running voice communication software (ventrilo) etc.

Render lots of youtube videos with lossless audio. (1440p quality, no 4K) Using Sony Vegas.

My build followed by questions about it: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/strreamix/saved/#view=WCPH99

*I have only so far purchased the graphics card, everything else can still be changed.**

1.Will this build be able to perform up to my standards?

2. I chose the ASUS x99 Deluxe because it has automatic overclocking software, which seems to work well from viewing various youtube videos. I've never overclocked before and am not willing to risk doing any damage to my parts through manual overclocking. Do all x99 ASUS boards have this software and will they be able to achieve the same overclock? The x99 deluxe is a bit more expensive than what I'd like to spend... is there a cheaper alternative that has the same OC capabilities? I need the OC capabilities otherwise I heard the 4790k is a better option. But I want this computer to be "future-proof", I need it to last a good 5-7 years.

3. Will my fan configuration work? Please suggest an alternative if you do not agree with my setup.
I will have a Fractal R5 case. It has dust filters on the front and bottom of the case, therefore I would like to use those locations as intakes if possible. I'd like to set up the fans in the following way:
Corsair H105 as push intake in the front of my case (will it fit?) Website says it will, but double checking here.
GTX 980 Ti Hybrid fan as push intake from the bottom of my case (will it fit?) Seasonic 1000W PSU + front Corsair H105, I can't figure out if the 980 ti fan will fit on the bottom between the PSU and the H105.
1 rear exhaust fan as the Noctua NF-A14 as I heard it pushes a lot of air out of the case.

I would prefer to leave the top of the R5 closed if possible. Is this too much intake for not enough exhaust? I wanted to do both the cpu and gpu as intake as I heard it will produce lower temps, there is also a dust filter in the front and bottom of the case, which makes them optimal for intake locations.

If you took time out of your day to help me here, it is greatly appreciated. I thank you very much.

Solution
Agree with RCFProd... This is overkill system for your needs... But anyway:

1 - Yes, for sure.
2 - The I7 4790K also is a future prof cpu. About X99 by Asus, I heard that best OC motherboards are from MSI.
3 - Corsair H105 will fit in if you will remove the HDD cage. Others componenets will fit also well... No problem here.

Solution
That will be my main usage of it as it is the game I play competitively, although I will definitely enjoy new games as well.

For me, it's a bit more complicated. I've had "budget" setups all my life and I'm really tired of it. I want a computer that I can throw anything at it and it just snaps it all up in front of my face. Open 10 programs and have them all open with a second of clicking without lag. Regardless of my knowledge of hardware, I love computers, I spend a lot of time on mine every single day. I want the "best", within reason. Initially, I had planned the 5960X, but that money went towards my headphone setup. (Audeze LCD3's)

Thank you both for your quick responses, glad to hear my build will work.

Another question please,

It seems everywhere I look I am unable to find "highly rated" x99 motherboards. When I browse amazon/newegg/etc for the x99 deluxe I read a lot of horror stories, but the same goes for almost all the motherboards I look at for x99. Is x99 less stable than z97? Is is prone to more problems? I really want to just buy it, build it, and enjoy it. (I do maintenance compressed air cleaning, that's about it) I do not want to have to update the bios on the motherboard in order for it to work correctly or deal with error codes etc etc. I've spent my past 2 years doing that with my current computer. I just want a fully functional, strong computer that I don't have to worry about. (Essentially, I went overkill because I don't want to have to worry about anything besides routine maintenance.)

Strea, the x99 boards are fine... It will performe better than Z97 if you will one day buy another 980ti for sli.
I belive your system is stable and you will enfoy it at 100% like I enjoy mine system that is less powerfull than yours.

You can order all you put in pcpartpicker with no problems, and shure that it will be all good for years...

Thank you again Kiril,

last things on my mind for now...

Should I go with the USB 3.1 x99 deluxe or the standard? (I do not care about data transfer speeds, but I do have quite a lot of USB devices including the music DAC, professional studio equipment, etc. Is there any advantage to 3.1 for this type of equipment?)

What about m.2? Once again, data transfer doesn't matter to me. But will the m.2 load programs faster?

TheTemest - What would you recommend? I chose 8.1 because I am afraid to go Windows 10 right away as I don't think many older programs I use will support it. (I was born in the beginning on the online gaming era, I still play things like Quake, CS 1.6, and use voice comm software like Ventrilo.) I also heard 8.1 was "stronger" than Win 7, which I use now. But, I wouldn't mind using 7 again. Not exactly sure what operating system is right for me.

ok, so first off, i would downgrade your gpu to a regular 980, it will max all games on high settings. The gtx 980ti and titan are pretty much for those rich people with a stuck up neighbor named bob and they think bobs ego is to large and they want to put him in his place by outdoing his gaming rig, take that bob. (i noticed in your post you said you bought the card already, but you really may want to consider returning it if the vendor allows it)

Also a 1000w power supply is also overkill, an 800w power supply would be more than enough and would still leave some room for future upgrades.

I would leave your cpu at a 5820k as you said you was going to be doing some video editing and that will benefit from the 6 cores.

If you wanted a great motherboard for overclocking, the asrock fatal1ty x99x is a good choice.

other than that your build looks pretty good, and even without any of these changes its still going to be a beast of a pc.

Thanks James. I already have the 980 Ti Hybrid though.

Also, I am unable to use any motherboards that have "Killer" technology ethernet ports. Something to do with UDP offloading or something with Verizon Fios. I had a Killer network card in my current computer and it had to be swapped for an Intel as it would lag me out of games unless I set the priority in the Killer manager to "2" instead of 1, but often it would revert to 1 for no reason. So, no Killer for me.

the x99x comes with 2 ethernet ports, one being the killer port and one is an Intel Gigabit Ethernet port as well

Okay, looking at your last couple of replies it is more clear for me why you will be purchasing a system like this.

Looking at the selection of components, everything included here is quality. I would swap the Fractal R5 case with this full tower Enthoo Pro:

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case ($99.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $99.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

In addition to this, custom fans and a fan controller will make this complete. Corsair SP 120&140 ones.

Thanks for your input RCFProd. And that case would work with my fan configuration as well?

Also, my last questions,

Should I go with the USB 3.1 x99 deluxe or the standard? (I do not care about data transfer speeds, but I do have quite a lot of USB devices including the music DAC, professional studio equipment, etc. Is there any advantage to 3.1 for this type of equipment?)

What about m.2? Once again, data transfer doesn't matter to me. But will the m.2 load programs faster?

Should I go Win 7 or Win 8.1, I plan to upgrade to 10 at a later date once all the "bugs" have been sorted out.

since you are wanting the best of the best (or close to it) 3.1 is much faster than 2.0, so i would go with that if you have the money to do so.

M.2 will load anything stored on it a bit faster, but you could get about the same performance from any other ssd

I recommend win 8.1 just because its more efficient in terms of gaming.

1 - If you want go to 3.1 you need also buy 3.1 pen. (that includes again extra money).
2 - About m.2 I dont know much about it but if we will see the overall speeds, they are the same as normal ssd. I belive the advantage os the m.2 is only about an extra storage (if no more sata avalible) and about it very small size (good for laptop).
3 - Last day (10 august) I ordered to me the Fractal Design Define r5 titanium w/window (like yours), and the Corsair H110I GTX hybrid cooler (little better that the H105I). I will format my system again. I have the original Windows 7 and Windows 10 cd keys and I will choose the Win 7. Why? Its becuase it is more stable, have less bugs than 8 and 8.1, have more supporte for older programs and games and I still will be able to upgrade for w10 when it will be more stable (at last half a year or more).

The H110 GTX will fit in the front of the R5? And it won't cause any problems when fitting my Hybrid fan between the H110 and the PSU?

I'd upgrade to the best cooler (only like 30-40$ more) if it will work in my build. Longevity is what I'm after, so the better cooler would be great if it works.

Good, that will save me some money :)

For sure the H110I GTX is better. About the front instalation it will fit well cause the case supports two 140mm fans so you can put there the 280mm radiator. (But in my system I will put in on the top). If you want to pay extra money for more powerfull cooling system do it like me :)
