This will be a long post, but I greatly appreciate anyone who takes the time to help me. I've been delaying for months and need to move forward. Thank you so much if you decide to read/help.
A few things you should know:
I've been saving up forever (this is my only shot to build a great PC, I have no room for error financially)
I lack knowledge on how to connect hardware, etc, I will be paying a "professional" to build the computer. I would attempt it if it was a cheaper build, but I don't trust myself when I have 3000$ on the line.
This is my first time ever buying parts for a computer, I usually just buy a premade, but then realized I was getting robbed.
This computer needs to be able to do the following:
Maintain 144 FPS constantly in DotA 2 (1080p) while streaming/recording/fraps'ing/etc while running music (via digital to analog USB -> amplifier -> headphones) + music player while running voice communication software (ventrilo) etc.
Render lots of youtube videos with lossless audio. (1440p quality, no 4K) Using Sony Vegas.
My build followed by questions about it: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/strreamix/saved/#view=WCPH99
*I have only so far purchased the graphics card, everything else can still be changed.**
1.Will this build be able to perform up to my standards?
2. I chose the ASUS x99 Deluxe because it has automatic overclocking software, which seems to work well from viewing various youtube videos. I've never overclocked before and am not willing to risk doing any damage to my parts through manual overclocking. Do all x99 ASUS boards have this software and will they be able to achieve the same overclock? The x99 deluxe is a bit more expensive than what I'd like to spend... is there a cheaper alternative that has the same OC capabilities? I need the OC capabilities otherwise I heard the 4790k is a better option. But I want this computer to be "future-proof", I need it to last a good 5-7 years.
3. Will my fan configuration work? Please suggest an alternative if you do not agree with my setup.
I will have a Fractal R5 case. It has dust filters on the front and bottom of the case, therefore I would like to use those locations as intakes if possible. I'd like to set up the fans in the following way:
Corsair H105 as push intake in the front of my case (will it fit?) Website says it will, but double checking here.
GTX 980 Ti Hybrid fan as push intake from the bottom of my case (will it fit?) Seasonic 1000W PSU + front Corsair H105, I can't figure out if the 980 ti fan will fit on the bottom between the PSU and the H105.
1 rear exhaust fan as the Noctua NF-A14 as I heard it pushes a lot of air out of the case.
I would prefer to leave the top of the R5 closed if possible. Is this too much intake for not enough exhaust? I wanted to do both the cpu and gpu as intake as I heard it will produce lower temps, there is also a dust filter in the front and bottom of the case, which makes them optimal for intake locations.
If you took time out of your day to help me here, it is greatly appreciated. I thank you very much.
