So I found that I have this Dell Precision M65 and from what I can see it has a Quadro FX 350M and I found that I have some downloaded movies but this laptop doesn't seem to have an HDMI or DVI port so I need to use the VGA but when I connect it to my 32'' monitor there is NO SIGNAL I tried downloading some drivers but nothing to make it work.It is running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit and I can remember that it used to work so I did some research and found a list of installed programs before this laptop was formatted and I saw I had nVidia performance drivers installed.I need to reinstall that Performance Driver but I cannot find it anywhere...Any help would be appreciated

TLDR version

I need a performance driver for Quadro FX 350M

Solution
It could be that the port picks up the connection but could still be broken ( most likely what happened).

A suggestion I have is if the TV is a flatscreen and has a HDMI port to get a USB to HDMI adapter and use a HDMI cable for your purpose.

I already have on the nvidia website but it gave me the message that everything is up to date

Oh I see I never mentioned in my original post / first reply.

Did you change the settings on the TV? By settings I mean the input settings?Test the VGA port with another cable and plug it into another device.

If your software is up to date and you checked your input settings it can only be one of 2 things.

A - Either the laptop's VGA or VGA cable are broken

B - The device you are plugging into ( in this case the TV's) port is broken.

It seems that both ends of the cable work well (I tried it with my other laptop) and I installed a lot of drivers but none seem to work. Both the cable and the TV work so I thought the port on this m65 is broken because it wasn't connecting to other external displays but in the nVidia Control Panel it shows that it is connected a cable in the VGA port and it recognizes it which really confuses me and leads me to believe this must a Windows problem...could it be ?
