too scared to build a gaming pc

Solution
Talk about trust man, my build here cost almost 1600 bucks and it was my first one. Once I had everything I had to trust that the guy in the newegg video was good enough to walk me through it. Now almost a year later my rig has not had single problem. I know where you are coming from but PM me and I can give you some pointers and suggest agood build for you that you know would work right.

PS. I am going to school for this and understand everything better than when I put mine together a year ago lol.
I was nervous as hell putting my baby together but Newegg has a real goo instructional video bro. I literally had never opened a computer before building mine but I did it anyways. It really is very simple as most parts can only go in one way. Strongly encourage you build one before buying a more expensive system. Just my two cents, that build does look solid though. I have the 760 and love it.

Agreed, and many connectors and components are built with fool proof design so you can't accidentally plug the wrong thing in the wrong place. I would also recommend this as a source to follow when building a computer;

This is of course, only if you're still interested in building one. We don't want to force you to do something you're truly uncomfortable with.

The biggest area of nervousness I had was putting the thermal compound on the CPU but the old finger-in-the-plastic baggie trick worked great!! Nothing better than getting done booting it up and having that proud feeling lol

My tv (im using it as my moniter) is only 1080p so im not going to gaming at any higher resolution. And the main reason that i dnt want to build is coz off reasons like what leeb2013 said about them overclocking with "mid end cpu". I have no idea what components goes well with other components. Plus i dnoo how to overclock either haha

It's easy enough to know whats compatible with what, and who said you need to overclock anything? I've had my build for over a year and have never overclocked it. Never needed to. And my build only cost me around $700 at first.

Well i can find out whats compatible with part picker but when iv used part picker before and ask for opinion people reply with stuff like bottle necking (i dont know what that means lol) and stuff like my cpu shouldnt be used with gpu or mobo or something like that. It seems like certain parts are better with other certain part and i dnoo which ones lol people have also suggested builds for me but im afraid they might not have thought about how it would actually work because their not the ones who will actually be building it haha i have trust issues 😛
