Took my heatsink out to clean it today, and after putting everything back in I'm getting super high mobo temps.

Pulled the heatsink out, cleaned it as much as I could, and replaced it on the CPU. Now when I run my pc, my fans start going max speed immediately after bootup without stopping, and my mobo temps have been reading considerably higher across several programs and even in BIOS. I'm getting around 40°c idle, it got close to about 50 just browsing the web, and trying to watch streaming video or start a game pushes close to 60.

I've also had some odd minor problems since then such as a handful of videos from my harddrive not playing when others would, and another program that would try to boot up and immediately go unresponsive.

No idea if the last two are related, but what did I do here?
