Hello,

Recently I decided to take out my graphics card as well as a Fan to get all the dust off of them. Everything went smoothly. No issues.

Then i go to boot up and it had a boot failure. Forgot to plug in a couple of cables. Oops. Plugged in back in, everything booted up fine.

Go to start a game of LoL to make sure everything is running appropriately Chilling at 100 FPS no problem then we go into lane once i start to clash in lane with minons and enemy champion my FPS get obliterated, Go from a steady 50-60 to 02-05.

I've had a steady line of issues ever since i cleaned my Card so I've been trying numerous different fixes and searching the internet for any common issues and nothing I've tried has solved it for me.

So i decided to reinstall Windows 7. Reinstalled my Drivers. My internet is faster than ever. I can play LoL on super high graphics but the moment i clash or seems like theres alot of animation going on my FPS drops and my CPU becomes unplayable. I've also noticed that my CPU usage is ridiculously higher then it was before. I have 4 fans and my case is running wide open right now so I don't think Heat is an Issue though when my CPU usage goes up to the 95-100% (only League and System Idle process) My PSU fan doesn't cut which i thought it was supposed too.

EDIT: Also When the FPS drops to unplayable to Audio also starts to sound like its being torn apart. It honestly feels like theres a tear in the system.

EDIT 2: Tried playing Runescape in some Combat, No issues sound was on just fine aswell. I'll download a more demanding game here soon to try and see the results of that.

Honestly I'm just stumped.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Specs:
Intel Core I5-3570k 3.40GHz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 550Ti
600W PSU OCZ Tech Model #:OCZ600SXS
Windows 7 64-Bit.

I used Malwaybytes premium and CCleaner.

Thank you.

I'm Stumped I have no idea what to do.

Solution
check gpu & cpu temperatures when you get the fps drops, probably something overheats. did you take down also the cpu cooler? if you did, you need to reapply thermal paste.
