Qapla!

I have a question to the other hosts:
Does anyone if there exists a tool to export the turn statistics to the
RCCL?

It is easy to export it from AutoTroll but I do not know how to get it into
RCCL.

I was going to write one but I have never found time.

You seem to be everywhere...;-)

I think I have seen one long time ago on the site of the creator of PCC, but
I can't remember where to find it.

Just send me the output file(s) and I will then understand what new
program code I need to give the RCCL to play with.

I'm still examinining how to let the RCCL program allow games to be
closed, without it having all the "trnlog" files (player statistics
are built up turn by turn and having that missing data would mean the
players in such a game would have no reliability data, only Skill
Points based on their finish position at game end).

Hmmm, RCCL would need to know the identity of all players at game
start and game end and if any starting players left the game, at what
turn did they leave and was it a quit or dead race reason ....
arrrhhh.

Qapla!

It's not the "one time messages" (starting, ending, dead race, quit player,
new player etc.) messages I think about. It's no work doing them.
It's the "every day work" - the trnlog files - I get into mess with....and
I'm not running many games. I would really like to rank my games at the
ladder, but writing this manually in the subject of an email takes
hours...:-(
How does someone like "Robo" solve this?

Tell me what files you think about and I will forward them to
you....manually ;-)

Matthias,

Robo has his own program that does it automatically. His autohosting system
is his own creation and he made his RCCL submissions for games automatic
also. I had one ladder ranked game a long time ago, but the every turn
submissions were very hard to keep up with so I haven't done another one.
If we could come up with a way to do it with AT it would be great.

Qapla! Ed,

I fully agree with you.

I surely could do it by creating a batch file at the AT web templates, but
that means you still would have to click a "mailto" link at the created web
site, and as the *.atf template has to make a circle for every game it would
significant increase the needed time for creating the web templates. That's
not what I thought about, but better than nothing and I will do so if we
don't find another way in time.

My main intention is to use the RCCL system one day to keep the unreliable
players away from my host....(ok, I sometimes dropped out of games
too...sorry for that Ed ;-) ).
Currently I'm using the AT "choices" register to do so....one point for
every dropped game and when the player has 4 dropouts he'll be banned.
