Toothpaste as thermal paste

lo guys i m just curious about my gpu gtx 570 temp reaches to 75 while playing black ops 2 so i just use an toothpaste as thermal paste on gpu and my temp is significantly goes down upto 75 to 60 max i amazed with these thing that how cheap and reliable toothpaste do work well against after market thermal paste and currently i m getting idle is 25 and
60 max at games so i just wanted to know that will it safe to use toothpaste as thermal paste because i not facing any issue of temp right now

I liked it so much, I tried some AS5 on my BLT. It didn't work quite as well.

Any *greasy* stuff works well and doesn't dry out like toothpaste -- the more 'viscous' (and thin), the better.

You can air-test stuff for a few days. Stuff that skims-over normally won't work as well as greasy mayo-like stuff. Makes yah wonder what that mayo does to your arteries.
