Question Top exhaust vs rear exhaust? HELP

My pc is pushed near the wall.. and I plan to keep it like that and not move it forward. so I believe the rear fan can't exhaust efficiently because the air it gives out gets clogged and crowded there in the corner as there's not much space, in this case, I am planning to direct the CPU cooler towards the top exhaust and use the top as my primary exhaust instead of the rear, would that help any? (Load temps of my i5 8600k is around 67 degree, and my gtx 1080 AMP extreme is 76 degree)

i primarily wanna do it cz the heat hits rear wall and seems to come towards me when i game... so i wanna turn it to top so it can freely go up.. would doing it worsen anything

Having top as the exhaust is pretty normal. I would try it.
