I didnt really know if this was a good place to post this or not but here goes. Today i bought a TOP SHOT ELITE. its periphereal witch is made for the xbox 360 and communicates with the xbox 360 wireless-ly . i am wondering

Why would it not work on a pc?
heres the facts i know about it so far.
-it has an infrared camera in the barrel.
-it uses IR leds placed by the screen (much like a wiimotes sensor bar
-i have a wireless gaming receiver for windows.
- i can successfully connect the controller and use all the bottons on it.
-the only function thats not working is the +Z (half)axis. the -z (half)axis is used by the trigger on the gun. could this axis alone hold all the information the controller needs to calibrate a position on screen?
-Is there a way of making proprietery IR leds that would make this work only with thier own camera? because i dont own the ir led sensor bar that came with the gun, why would it not work with a wireless one made for wii?
let me know what you think. give me some ideas. if im in the totally wrong spot posting this maybey point me somewhere else? maybey theres a site thats based around this kind of modification you could direct me towards.
