Top Three Games Of 2004

Now normally I'd make it 'Best Game Of 2004' however considering we're
in alt.games.half-life and it's no secret that Half-life2 is popular
with everyone I'd like you to name your top three.

FarCry

Thief: Deadly Shadows - Kind of a distant third if that.

2.) Doom 3
3.) Sid Meier's Pirates!
and/or
The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.

Almost on par with Half-Life 2 IMHO. Great single player experience. No
single player game however. I highly highly recommend it.

The third one is certainly NOT Doom III (IMHO)

Nah, didn't come close for me. I like the Thief games I just don't think
it was anywhere as polished as Thief II.

I have only bought one game and one add-on that were released in 2004, so, er...

1. Half-Life 2
2. IL-2 Forgotten Battles Ace Expansion Pack

3. Thief 3 - (although it was much easier than Thief 2. It seemed like 1 hit
by a sword and you were mortally wounded)
