Hi. My browser had an HTTPs everywhere update and since then, I've not been able to Start the TOR browser. It just will not open.

I've tried a number of ways to get it to work and nothing.
These are the things I've tried:

1) I did a system restore - did not work
2) I downloaded the exe and installed it without getting rid of the old one - did not work
3) I tried opening it in admin mode - did not work
4) I tried this method >> Go to start tor browser icon >> right click >> click properties >> click compatibility, at the bottom there is a box for "run this program as administrator". I checked the box and applied it.
- did not work

None of the above have worked for me.
That update screwed things up and since then, the TOR Browser has not worked.

I'd appreciate your help on this. Thanks!
