Hey guys, I need a Graphics Card for 1080p high FPS gaming which will last me a good few years.

Currently, I've limited myself to 2 options, GTX 1660 Super for $228, or the RX 580 for $134.

While I know the GTX 1660 super is simply the more powerful one.. The RX 580 is simply almost $100 cheaper due to taxes and such. And to add to that, the RX 580 comes with a free Borderlands 3 or Ghost recon breakpoint. (Also some Xbox Game Pass but I dunno if I will be using that)

So which do you think is the better buy? I am also curious to know which will hold the better value for the next upcoming years, as I am not planning to upgrade to a high-end graphics card after buying them, and instead probably in the next years upgrade my pc as a whole.

13:05 - Best Budget: 1650S. Honorable Mention-ish 5500 and 5300, but availability is a mystery.

Not to try to make your decision more difficult, but I believe AMD is supposed to be releasing the RX 5500 in the next few weeks, which should roughly similar performance to the cards you're looking at but a much more modern design with significantly lower power draw (at least compared to the RX 580). If you're not in a rush it might not hurt to wait and see how that pans out.

Yeah I know, but I have to buy GPU before cyber monday, else deals are gone

What is the rest of your system spec including PSU make and model?

i5 4590
8gb ddr3 1600mhz
GTX 660
550w seasonic

Will upgrade CPU & RAM at future but currently my gpu bottlenecks my pc.
