It's between the corsair k70 rgb and the razer blackwidow chroma. I would probably go with the k70 but the whole 512 color thing is MASSIVELY turning me off. Any help is appreciated!
If you don't want an rgb keyboard there's a non-rgb version of the corsair k70 that's actually significantly cheaper, it's a bright red (that's actually very nice, I've used my friend's before), so I'd go with that one.
Go with the razer blackwidow chroma its not cherry mx red keys but its super responsive and slightly less noisy than cherry reds. IMO the black widow chroma has the brightest leds of rgb keyboards available aswell
I want the rgb lighting effects, hence why I said the 512 issue on the k70 rgb was turning me off.
Well 512 is a pretty big number if we're talking about how many colors a keyboard can do, granted the blackwidow chroma probably has more, but I've tried both keyboards and I prefer the feel of the corsair k70 personally. Up to you, but I'd still suggest the corsair k70.
I know 512 is a lot but it still irritates me... I also like how razer has an sdk that can be integrated in games so the lighting can be your health bar ammo etc. Does corsair have something akin to that?

I'm pretty sure you either have to download them or set the profiles yourself in corsair's software, but you can create profiles for different games that can be loaded onto the keyboard before you start up a game, not sure fi they automatically switch when you automatically start up a game, probably not. Here's a link to ones that you can download, it has videos showing what they look like as well so you get an idea of how they look: http://gaming.corsair.com/en-us/rgbshare/hall-of-fame
