Toshiba 3Tb Not reconizing Blue Rays

My 3TB Toshiba Canvio external hard drive wil not play on my Sony 3d player nor my LG Blue Ray player

Maybe it's the way it's formated. It's probably NTFS and the devices only work with FAT32 or maybe only like drives under 2TB, etc.
