My daughter's Satellite C55-A5302 won't boot up. The HD works OK in a usb case connected to another PC. None of the built in system restore procedures work and she doesn't have a system restore disk, so I want to reinstall Windows. The computer was originally Windows 8 but was surreptitiously upgraded to Windows 10 by Microsoft. I have made an .iso Windows 10 dvd with Microsoft Media Creation Tool.
This DVD starts up OK and begins to install Windows and then stops with a lengthy message saying "A media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a DVD, USB, or hard disk driver . . ."
The question is where do I find these drivers? Or is there an easier way to handle this?
Thanks!
