I sent my toshiba laptop in to be repaired it came back damaged and the fan started grinding. I sent it in again I received it back 3 days later. The grinding stopped for a month and now it's back. Is their anything I can do to hold them accountable? They no longer have a forums page on their website

What warranties, if any, do you have?

First with respect to the laptop and then with respect to the repairs and/or fan?

Was the repair facility truly Toshiba or some third party who just fixes Toshiba laptops?

As for the forums page: keep trying. It may just be down but it would be hard to know for sure....

Google your laptop's model and include search words such as "fan grinding" etc.. See if you find other links and postings with the same or similiar problem.

See if you can call Toshiba Customer Support. Never an easy or fun process but give it a try anyway. Do a chat session and print out the script afterwards. (I tend to do interim prints - some chats "mysteriously" just end.)

Keep all documentation, telephone records, and proof of payment information. May be necessary as evidence for any claims or further action.
