Toshiba Hard Disk Drive

I have some spare parts laying around and am considering building some web browser computers/HTP. Will the Toshiba P300 be ok as a partitoned boot drive...7200RPM.

1TB... microcenters running a $30 special.

Yes for basic computing, it should be fine. It's also a 7200RPM drive which is more appropriate for a boot drive than a 5400 RPM model. Nowadays almost all Hard Drives are basically at the same level and if you want to get better performance than what Hard Drives do offer you have to get an SSD. Good luck.

Yes, it will just take a while to boot Windows into a usable state if you are used to an SSD. It will take a few minutes to boot into Windows

I got a stack of parts laying around I want to turn into $... I should be able to build 2 computers with that HDD.
