Toshiba HDD SSD Alert: how to restore backup?

So i received an error from the "Toshiba HDD SSD Alert" tool. It said that i should make a backup of my hdd. So i did it, on a external hdd.

But how do i restore it on to a new hdd? it doesn't have any OS running.

it's a build-in toshiba tool, the option was there to make a complete backup
