Toshiba L500 CPU upgrade

What processor is compatible to upgrade a Toshiba Satellite Pro L500-EZ1520?

I have a spare P9700 that's faster and requires only 28 watts. Might this work?

The service manual (it's paper, I have it) only has part numbers listed for (these better CPU's) P7350, P8400, P8600, P9500, T9400 and T9600.

I can't tell if it's BIOS locked to blacklist procs not on the list. Some laptops do that.
