I bought this laptop a Toshiba L675D and the guy who had it before me wiped the hard drive. The laptop would power on and say no boot media found. I removed the hard drive and installed a new image on it. Put it back in now the laptop will not even come on. One light on the front comes on you here the dvd come on and the fan. But nothing else happens. Thank You For Any Help.

"I removed the hard drive and installed a new image on it"

Wrong procedure, it doesn't work like that. A Windows image can only be used on the same computer it was created on.

Leave the hard drive inside the laptop, then install Windows on it using a Windows installation disc & a valid Product Key.

It's possible that the screen's backlight has blown then. A laptop repair shop should be able to fit a new backlight for you but get a cost estimate from them first.

Incidentally, the guy you bought it from should not have removed Windows from the hard drive because it's tied to the motherboard - - he really left you in the lurch doing that. Laptops & factory-built desktop PCs are supposed to be resold with the OS intact.
