Hello guys, so I have this Toshiba x870-13D laptop on Windows 10 and when I try to boot it I get a black screen with no cursor or anything. First of all, I got the blue screen of death, but I can't remember any error code... So I reboot it and it shows me the Qosmio logo along with some small, but many, green horizontal lines. After that it shows me a black screen. I've entered the recovery menu and opened the command prompt, running chkdsk /f /x /c I believe it was and got no result.
I've booted into safe mode and went to device manager and it was showing me "generic pnp monitor" with a yellow exclamation mark. So I believe the laptop screen is the cause? Any help is appreciated. Thank you for your time!

then the screen driver is corrupt? you cannot select it from a list? click the yellow exclaimed entry and chose update, then search windows should bring you to a list, can you find it in there? (if you know what its supposed to be called). have disk if you have the drivers disk that should be packaged with your laptop?
