I have a Toshiba Satellite C50-B-14D. Recently I tried booting it however the system froze on the "Toshiba Leading Innovation" screen with the numlock key permanently lit. Trawling through various internet solutions I eventually pressed the following key combo before firing up the laptop: <ALT> <NUMLOCK><F12>.
This key combo brings up a new screen with the words: Entering Boot Menu...
And then...nothing. I have removed the hard disk and formatted it before slotting it back in but that has had zero effect.
Any ideas will be gratefully appreciated.
