I have a Toshiba L755 S5217 laptop that has crashed.
Bios tells me the HD is OK and I can read the HD from another computer.
But normal boot tells me there is no boot sector.
If I boot holding "0" I get to the Toshiba flash screen followed by black screen with a VGA sized cursor, then nothing.
If I boot holding P8 I get the Toshiba flash screen followed by the old windows flash screen then same as above.
If i try to boot in safe mode I get the same thing.
There is also no "repair mode" option when I boot with P8.
I have removed all the data so I can make a clean start but I have no windows boot disc and the recovery sector is clearly not working.
Not sure what to do next.
Thanks
