I have an older (4+ years ) Toshiba Satellite L775D-S7226 Laptop with Win7 original OS that I upgraded to Win 10. The laptop video adapter is an AMD Radeon 6000 Series. But the video driver loaded was the generic MS driver which does not properly support the resolution the display is capable of ( 1900xYYY ). I have searched MS, Toshiba and AMD but have not been able to locate an appropriate Win 10 video driver for the laptop. How do I go about correcting this?
Thx, Bill

Solution
AMD Quad-Core A6-3400M Accelerated Processor with AMD
Radeon™ HD 6520G Graphics

on the first dropdown select apu
the second, mobile apu
third a-series apu w/radeon series 6000g
forth win 10 (32 or 64)

lastly click display results. and your required driver should pop up.
if there isnt 1 for win 10 you can use the win 8.1 driver

Thx for the reply. Since this is a non-standard support site, is there a way to verify that it is reputable and not going to install malware?

Thx, Bill.

Ok, thx for reply. I will take a look at that. I did try the AMD site earlier but could not find the appropriate driver. I will look at it again. Bill

I ran through the actions on the AMD driver update page you list and the result that was displayed is these updates can only be accomplished through Windows Update. I forced a Windows Update Search for Updates which was executed and updates applied. Windows Update now reports that the OS is "Up to Date". But the video driver ( Generic MS Driver ) is still the same and no ability to set a higher resolution. Got to love MS ( and now AMD ).

Any more ideas for a solution before I try Victor89's solution?
Thx, Bill
