Question Toshiba laptop won't boot windows 8.1 and has no display ?

I have a Toshiba Qosmio X875 laptop with NVIDIA GeForce 670M GPU and Windows 8.1 installed. While I was using my laptop it suddenly displayed error code 0xc0000225. I tried the start Windows again. Windows would not load, but I could get into Safe Mode. While troubleshooting the no boot issue, I changed my BIOS to load defaults. I unfortunately changed the Boot Mode from UEFI to CSM. Now, I have No Display so I'm not sure how to change it back.

The laptop could possibly be reading data from the USB and CD-ROM because of the noise the CD_ROM makes and how long I have to hold the button to power down, but I have no display. I tried connecting a TV to the laptop's HDMI port with no success.

Please help?

remove the hard drives and eventually USB drives
remove the CD
reset the BIOS (remove battery and cmos battery while charger is unplugged)
I disassembled the laptop (removing the backup battery, hard drives, CD, keyboard ...) and desoldered the CMOS battery from the mother board leaving it out for 10 min. I reassembled, but I still have no display.

I noticed two square pads next to the system RAM that possibly could be a CMOS hard reset. I've seen other videos that show putting a jumper across the pads and turning on the computer would perform a CMOS hard reset. Do you know if that is the case on my laptop? and if so, does it work different than disconnecting the CMOS battery?

maybe replacing the bios battery will work
I measured the voltage on the bios battery, it read 3.25v in circuit which I assumed to be the correct voltage since all the other videos I watched used a 2032 battery for the CMOS battery.
