I just bought a brand new 1TB Toshiba portable HDD called Canvio Ready, but it appears very flimsy and lightweight in your hand. The packaging in which it came also seemed a little fake like !?? Is it really a genuine product ? I can't find a page on Toshiba's website where I can register a portable HDD while they allow their other products like tv, computers to be registered unlike WD or others.
I found on their website that their 1TB weighs 175.2g whereas mine is barely 133g !!?
Guys please help me out. If anyone of you have this model 1tb Toshiba Canvio Ready, what is the actual weight in grams ? And how do you guys register a hdd with Toshiba ?
