Toshiba notebook error code 20H

Hi to all,
i have two notebook Toshiba Pro A50-C-206 with the same issue.
The notebook won't power on, when i push the power button the led blink with this code:
00000100
This code rappresent: 20h Main battery voltage is over 13.46V. (Not supported)

I tried to change the power supply and keep it charged for a day.
I reset the CMOS
I tried to start it with the battery disconnected

Nothing worked.

If the problem is the battery as per code, why shouldn't it start without battery?

Can anyone help me?

Are you using the factory AC adapter that originally shipped with the laptop or a knockoff from an unknown source? It makes a difference. Just because the plug fits doesn't mean it's right.

What are the specs listed on the label of that adapter:

WATTS: ??
INPUT: X volts @ Y amps
OUTPUT: X volts @ Y amps


As for not booting without the battery, there are some systems that require the battery be present in order to complete the circuit.

Input: 100-240 V~1.3A
