I have an old Toshiba Satellite Pro P100 (PSPA1C-TM30XE) It is running Windows XP. I can't get it to boot from the CD drive. I have a Linux disc I want to run from boot. The BIOS doesn't have the security mode feature that many of the newer Toshiba's have so, there is no place to change from UEFI mode to CSM mode. I can press F12 during POST to get the boot priority list but even if I choose CD/DVD, it just boots from the HD. Win XP seems to be running but it's really sluggish so I'm hoping to run Linux on this laptop.
