I have a Toshiba P755-S5320. In the upper left corner of the laptop A fan is spinning and is making a really Bad noise. What is the fan? cpu Fan?

Solution

I don't think it's the cpu fan, mostly in the top left corner is just an intake fan then the cpu fan is facing out of the bottom of the computer and that is why you don't want to leave it sitting on a blanket for to long. Try blasting some compressed air into it and if not laptops are very easy to disassemble and see if it is indeed the fan going bad or if its just something stuck in it like a rogue wire.
Should be your CPU fan. You could try shooting some compressed air through it to clear out dust which may be causing the noise, and if that doesn't work the fan is beginning to go bad. You can replace the fan if you are comfortable with working in the computer, you could ask a computer shop to do it for you, or you can just deal with the noise. Using it as it is wont cause any harm unless the fan completely dies, in which case the computer will probably shut itself down due to heat (wont cause any damage).

Ty R4dio4ct1ve, The sound is coming from the top left corner of the laptop, And it doesn't shut down. But the noise is so Bad you Don't want to use it. I have worked on Desktop computers, So I am familiar with computers just not laptops. So you think it is a CPU fan?
