Actual measurement of a Toshiba replacement screen is 17.1 my laptop shows 17.3 will they be compatible in the absence of any other replacement I can buy? These two measurements refer to screen# LP171WX2. Please help.

Is the LP171WX2 the actual original screen pulled from your laptop? That part number indicates a 17.1 inch screen (LP171WX2 - the size tends to be included in the model number string)
