Toshiba satellite "0"recovery not working

Toshiba satellite c850 black/blue screen with solid cursor after win 10 creator update july 2017. "0" button does not work, f2 and f12 do access bios, but nothing useful can be changed.

Can you please try Starting Windows 10 in Safe Mode and then removing the latest Windows Update to see if the issue is fixed?

Once the update is removed, you can try '0' recovery (if needed) and then attempt to update Windows again.

F2 and f12 are all that works, there is no safe mode, theres is no windows10, just a black screen and blue screen with cursor.

In that case you can start Windows in Safe Mode externally as explained in the second section of the tutorial I shared earlier.

Neither tutorial is of any use. F8 and "0" do not work. The tutorial only says what to do when you are in safe mode, not how to get there.

Please read from 'On the other hand, if Windows 10 doesn’t boot properly or no longer allows you to log on with an administrator account, you can enable the legacy Advanced Boot Options menu that allows you to press F8 upon statup. It will display the additional boot options from which you can get to the safe mode in Windows 10.' and follow the steps explained there.
