I am the proud owner of a Toshiba a65-s126 laptop. The specs say the maximum memory is 1.5GB but I would like to go beyond that if possible.
The "fixed" memory slot has a 256kb module installed and once again the
specs say it is not replaceable. Has anyone out there changed out the 256kb for example a 1GB and then tried a 1GB in the one available memory expansion slot? I did something similar to this on an IBM laptop I used previously with no problems. Thanks for any and all ideas.
