Toshiba satellite C75D-B7350, ram upgrade question.

Current specs:
Windows 10 Pro x64
480gb Sandisk SSD
8gb DDR3L-1600 RAM

Would upgrading the ram to 16gb make a difference beyond a marginal improvement?

PS: I'm not a gamer. I'm ust trying to get a bit more performance out of this machine.

There are a number of conflicting information; your product's specification's page states that you can only have 4GB DDR3L memory on your laptop as well as this link saying you can't upgrade your ram. However this link says you can drop in a maximum of 2x8GB DDR3L ram to get 16GB of ram in total.

Seeing how you have unconventional parts in your laptop, you might've gotten sight of the innards of the laptop, if so, did you see two slots for where your ram is in right now? Are you on a 2x4GB kit right now?

First. Let me apologize for letting so much time pass since my last response.

Let me start by answering your questions,

Yes, there are 2-RAM slots under the bottom cover of the laptop.

Yes, I currently have 2x 4gb DDR3L-1600 (8gb total).

Also, I purchased my 2x 8gb of ram. So, I will be installing this ram in my laptop tomorrow afternoon. And I will update this thread as soon as possible.

OK, ram upgrade is complete.

The upgrade went incredibly easy. I now have 16gb of ddr3l-1600 ram in my laptop.
In computer specs it shows 15.0gb usable ram.

I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. Might I ask the make and model of your 2x8GB kit? It'd be of utmost assistance to the community and to those on the same path as you.
