Toshiba satellite e205 s1904 ram upgrade

I'm trying to upgrade my Toshiba satellite e205 s1904 ram from 4gb to 8gb but the system keeps rebooting in a loop after ram upgrade.
Old ram : 2*2gb DDR3 pc3 ram
New ram : 1*8gb pc3L ram

the max amount of memory for the system is 8GB; therefore, it requires 2x 4GB memory sticks.

The system seems to have an issue addressing the 8GB memory stick.

NO luck , I tried 2 * 4GB DDR3 ram but still its not working , can this be something related with BIOS?

Intel core i5-430 M Processor
inter HM57 express chipset

Sorry for necro, but we seem to have the same problem. Have you found a solution yet?

I've read from other sources stating, the need for BIOS update, another one says, basically going through BIOS and adjusting some frequencies or timings there.

Another promising suggestion was to insert 2GB on the inner / bottom slot, and 4GB on the outer slot ( 6GB) total, and they reported to have success on it.

4GB doesn't seem to be enough nowadays.
