Question Toshiba Satellite L500 vs L500 Pro motherboard compatibility

Hello everyone. I have 2 Toshiba Satellite laptops, an L500-1xu and L500-1hc. They look identical on outside. The Pro has the motherboard damaged, and I am interested if I can replace it with the one from the simple L500? Are they compatible in terms of motherboards? Or these must be of the same model name, and serial etc? Only then can be replaced? Thanks to the one who knows. Andrew.

What are the differences in features between the regular and "pro" versions? Does the arrangement of ports on the sides of each differ at all? What model numbers are the boards?

Toshiba board model numbers typically start with a single letter (often V) followed by 9 numbers and are often found near or under the RAM slots
