Toshiba Satellite p55t not powering on

My Toshiba Satellite (P55t-a5118) won't turn on. The low battery LED is I but when I plug it in to charge there is no response. I don't believe it is a charger issue because i tried a second charger with no response. Should I take the battery out?

Take battery out and plug power cable try to start without battery
