YES!!!
I think I just found the tablet to use to run Torque on when I'm working on cars!
Sub $200 US AND packs a punch, think I might be getting myself a Christmas gift this season!
Humm, just when I thought 1280x800 would be the standard rock-bottom resolution on 7" screen, someone had to release a 1024x600 tablet. Any takers for 800x600 now?
Not sure the rear camera and SD slot are enough to offset the lower specs compared to the N7-2012 on nearly everything else near the $170 price point.
Sorry, but Walmart's Hisense Sero 7 pro is better in almost every way, and is $129 new, $100 refurbished. 8gb memory, JB4.2.1, with 4.3 coming out soon, HDMI out, microSDHC, NFC, GPS, 1280x800, Tegra 3 quad core @ 1.3ghz...
jacobdrj you have a point about the sero 7 but that thing does not cost 129 actually I think that is also 179. I would just spend the extra 20 bucks and get the EVGA tegra note 7.
The Monster M7 at Walmart has much better overall specs is $149
And despite what Consumer Reports says runs great and has never locked up, and there has been an OTA ROM update anyway.
It get 14000+ on Antutu which reports 1.6 Ghz on the dual core.
4.1 JB OS, HD IPS 1280x800 resolution screen, Bluetooth 4.0 with Time Correct™, Micro USB input, 3.5mm headset jack, Mini HDMI, GPS, front (2.0MP) and rear (5.0MP) cameras, 16GB storage with 1GB DDR3 memory, MicroSD,4000mAh Battery, Google Play

Agreed. If I was going sub $200 the Hisense Sero 7 pro is nicer. That being said, after owning a new Nexus 7, I wouldn't settle for anything less in the 7" category.
This seems to have IPS screen so it is better than in most cheap tablets that have TN based screens. But yeah Nexus 7 is better, if you don't need the card slot.
Actually Nexus 7 & a second edition of it are worse choice performance wise then this to soc (quad cortex a9 & 4MP Mali 400) bat i am certain that price can be smaller if it's not Toshiba (Japanese & branded).
Anyway i do think that new Tagra 4 reference based 7" tablets are best performance/price/ value based! & by value i mean gpu drivers & development community...
Buying direct from china is a fool's game. They're nothing but cheats and cons over there who load up their stores with junk and hope somebody will bite. They have the best service you'll ever see until they get your money.
