Toshiba tecra 9100 no audio

Hello,
I have a Toshiba tecra 9100,win xp pro sp3,just formatted and audio want work as the drivers from Toshiba are incompatible with all xp servicepacks,anyone did solve this problem???How??

if the sound worked prior to installing sp2 and sp3 then you need to go to toshiba.com support and download the driver for sp2. it should work . sometimes i have to try the installation more than once.
