Question Toshiba Tecra R950 bios password

I purchased a used tecra r950 off ebay only to discover the bios is password protected (the seller was also stumped) and thus I cannot change the boot sequence. Is there a painless way to solve this?

Contact the seller, so he can get the password from where he got the laptop.
Or, contact Toshiba. Be prepared to prove ownership.

If that password was not disclosed in the ebay listing, 100% return and refund.

Tom's Hardware has a strict policy on passwords. No assistance at all.
