Having trouble connecting the tv to the wireless network. I punch in IP, Subnet mask & router address. Then I test the network. Everything comes back as set correctly then it says "not connected to gateway". Is my gateway set incorrectly? How do I tell? I tried changing the last number and nothing works all the way up to 9.

If you want to use a static address in the TV (instead of having it automatically obtain an IP address from the gateway router) you will need to set that address in the router also by either assigning that static address along with the TV MAC address in the router's static address table, or if your router supports it by reserving that address in the dynamic range which also requires entering the TV's MAC address in the router.

If you use a static address, it will need to be outside the address range used by the gateway router's DHCP service but still must be in the network range. So for example if your gateway router is 192.168.1.1, you can make the TV 192.168.1.2 and then set the DHCP service assignable range to 192.168.1.3 to .254 and enter the TV in the router's static table.
