Question Toshiba USB Hard Drive asks me to sign while I'm using it

So I have two similar problems with the toshiba usb hard drive. The first is that there seems to be a timeout. What I mean is that when I'm not using it, it asks me to sign in again. This is a major problem when downloading things to that drive. There is also a problem where the drive asks me to sign in everyday around 9:00 PM. This time I can be active and it will still sign me out of the hard drive. Does anybody have a similar problem to this or a solution.

If you've installed the Toshiba Security Software (Password Lock) open it and see what options/settings are available (eg disable password requirement).

The only options are languages delete the "safe area" and change password
