Hi can anyone please help, I was on the cine world website and my Toshiba laptop just went to a blank screen, I thought I had run out of power so plugged into the mains and the red charge light came on, I tried to start up but nothing happened, no noise at all from it. The blue power light comes on but just stays lit and doesn't do any of the normal flickering. I have tried the `hold down `power button for 1minute without the battery in then plug the mains power in but still the light comes on and nothing else
Thanks anita

Let it sit for a hour... Make sure it is getting power and try to turn it on. Assuming it turns on, it will likely shut off soon. That would be overheating... If it still doesn't turn on, I'm not sure.

Hi Anita,

I'm not an expert, but I've run into this kind of problem several times.

-]It could be that your bios crashed and you may need to re-install it.
-Your video card is dead
-The windows part on the hard drive could be corrupted
-Virus
-Overheat

Could you please tell me what type of laptop you have model number and how old it is?
