i m totally confused over my chose to buy new ram for my ryzen build
at first i was going to buy g skill trident z DDR4 3200mhz but when i went to buy it the shopkeeper said it will not work on my ryzen build which by the way will be built on msi x370 pro gaming carbon. then he said it will only work with g skill ripjaws and said no other ram will work with it .
i really wanted to buy g skill trident z but i do not want to waste that huge ammount of money and they would not take it back or replace it if it does not works.
plz help can any body suggest the rams which r compatible with ryzen and my motherboard
a whole list of rams which r compatible with it will be good.
plz help

he might be full of shit but he also might have meant something a long the way of bad memory support for the time being.

That has nothing at all to do with what memory will work with the motherboard. Anybody at a PC shop that says only GSkill will work to me is trying to sell their memory.
The memory list that they have tested with the board is a fairly long list.

I didnt say you`re not right. actually there`s a good chance you are right.

IMO prathameshCr7 should go to an other vender.
and listen to what they have to say.

in normal circumstances every memory on that list should work. if not they should take it back and give you a refund.
but the ryzen platform still has some issues with the memory. and im sure that reviewers bought memory from the same list. you get me?

As with any new platform the MB manufacturers adjust Bios revisions to support so many different RAM coming on to the market each month. We have seen this before.

It's best to consult with the MB QVL for tested RAM kits and if a vendor tries to tell you different and won't allow a return, should they not work then go to someone who does. In my country it's law.
I agree totally with Lauw.
