Hi all
Am i the only one experiencing issues with the new total war rome 2? So i had a friend load up hes steam on my pc because my hardware is better.
The game was amazing while running a benchmark test and playing the new player prologue. With all settings on extreme and no anti aliasing fraps showed 50-60 fps and about 40fps during intense combat.
However when starting your own campaign that all changes, on the map screen im getting 35fps avg and its really sluggish. Dropping settings doesnt change a thing! Still getting the same fps which i assume means my gpu is handling it well. I play crysis 3 and battlefield 3 maxed out with low shadows and no anti aliasing, its how i play all my games even though maxed shadows and anti aliasing can be used. By looking around the web ive found that its starting to surface as a issue for people with high end to low end systems. Has anyone found a solution? I wanna buy this game on steam but im hesitant. Best i could find online was the game uses more cpu power then gpu and Total War is working to find a solution. Ill link my specs below.
