total war Rome ii not loading

I was playing total war and during campaign then the power went out for 2-3 seconds and the pc shut of off instantly. I tuned it back on and now when i try load Rome ii it is stuck at begining loading screen and windows freezes up. other games work fine eg total. War Attila, Minecraft

X4 750k stock

R7 240 2gb stock

8gb ram

i didnt get it, the computer was prebuilt in 2014 with the games preinstalled.
