today i was clean my computer case and when i remove RAM the RAM touch the pcb dose is gonna damage my gpu sorry 4 bad english and im a newbie to pc

Solution

Good to go, then! The components can be delicate, and it pays to be careful and gentle, but I've seen mobos and RAM take serious rough treatment and shrug it off.

sorry 4 my bad english

No problem. There's really no way to avoid touching a PCB (motherboard, RAM, GPU, PCI-e card, etc) when you're building or working on a computer. Just remember to work with clean hands, avoid static by wearing a grounding strap or periodically touch a metal part of the case if the PSU is connected, and never let anything metallic bridge any contacts or exposed PCB components. Dropping screws or screwdrivers anywhere in a PC case is to be avoided...bad things can happen.

Again, the only way to find out it to test it. What you might want to try is draping some static-free, lint-free cloth around the area of the PC that you're working with, so that if you drop anything it lands on the cloth instead of your mobo or components. Kind of like masking with tape when you're painting.

You're going to have to help me out here with the terminology. PCB stands for printed circuit board. There are many PCBs in your computer, so you'll need to be more specific about which particular one you're talking about. If you can post a picture of the particular pins you're talking about, that would be helpful too.

If you can't post a picture, try giving a more detailed description. Are the pins you're talking about located on the motherboard? If so, there should be some kind of label next to it (CPU_FAN, POWER SW, things like that). What motherboard are you using?

If the pins are on a component, can you tell me which component?
