Laptops touch pad directions are reversed. When I try to move the mouse left it goes right, when I try to move the mouse up it goes down. I have no idea how to get it back to normal. The touch pad is an Elan touch pad on an HP Pavilion 360. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see anything. In the Elan options menu there's an option to reverse the scrolling, but that's it. I see nothing about reversing the touch pad directions. I'm on windows 10.

This is my girl friends laptop. She bought it yesterday. It worked fine for the first few hours. Then last night she was watching youtube in tent mode. Then when she flipped the laptop back to it's normal position the touch pad directions were reversed. I've looked on the keyboard for a button that might have toggled something, but I've had no success. I'm almost tempted to just reinstall windows.
Update: I reinstalled the Elan touch pad drivers and it works fine now :)

AHH its like that . I would use different ways of powering it down then tenting it and untenting it . its lost which way round it is probably untenting it when its off doesnt reverse the touchpad like it should. so put it back tented and see if it reverses it again..
wow did that make sense?
