My touch screen monitor won't work. The monitor itself is fine but the touch screen element won't work. I have tried downloading all the correct drivers from the ViewSonic website, I downloaded Winzip to make sure they were unzipped, I have troubleshooted and still nothing. I have no idea what the problem could be. Please can someone help?

I've not been getting notifications, so sorry for the late reply. The USB-A to USB-B cable didn't come with the monitor? The manual says it should. But all else in the manual I can find is that the USB cable is needed, and that the bottom and sides of the screen aren't covered as shown in the manual: https://www.viewsonicglobal.com/pub...ide/Display/TD2220-2/TD2220-2_UG_ENG.pdf?pass

If the touch capabilities still don't work, I would contact ViewSonic support.
What exact monitor model is it? We're currently experimenting with an HP monitor and it needs a USB cable going from the monitor to the computer. I doubt a regular video cable is enough to make it work. Might wanna check the manual, hence my asking for the exact monitor model.

It's the ViewSonic TD2220. I initially thought this was the problem too so bought a USB cable. After plugging that in, the monitor shows up in devices but the touch screen still doesn't work.
