Hi, my Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13 convertible laptop worked fine until last Saturday (it came with Windows 8, and I upgraded to 8.1 last year without issue). Last Saturday, I installed optional update KB3000850, and immediately afterwards (after the reboot following the installation), the touch screen stopped working. I have tried unins[strike][/strike]talling the update and restoring the computer to a time point on Friday, both without success. The computer consistently says there is no touch or pen device available, and there is no "HID-compliant Touch Screen" under HID in Device Manager. What can I do to bring the touch screen back? Thanks.

Hi, thanks for the answer, I tried that but it did not work. However, I found a different solution from the web: run "services.msc" and switch the two processes related to "Human Input Devices" and "Touch ..." to automatic start. That worked for me so far. Thanks very much again!
